T O W E R P L A Y H O U S E --------- ----------------- 1972 First Show: Jul 25, 1972 Last Show: Oct 31, 1972 Number Shows: 9 plus 1 special Audition Show: none Series Description: TOWER PLAYHOUSE, directed by Jim French in Seattle, Washington, was the forerunner of CRISIS, also directed by Jim French. Although a short series, some unusual science fiction and horror tales are among the titles. None of these 30-minute shows were repeated in CRISIS. The first CRISIS show was not aired until November 22, 1973, over a year after the last TOWER PLAYHOUSE show. It appears that the main run was only 9 shows with one special on Halloween.
